Praise for Writual

‘I run a busy business that most often has me in my head juggling a million things. Going to Chantal’s Writual was the perfect antidote to this. For two hours I got lost in reflection, the expression of other peoples by listening to poetry and short writings, and also my own as I explored what their words meant to me. Most often I found myself using it as a way of processing what was happening in my world at the time in a very unexpected and totally delightful way. I can’t recommend this program enough it’s a really special way to connect with others and with yourself. The way Chantal has designed the program makes it accessible to people who love to write and people who haven’t picked up a pen or expressed themselves in a long time. Loved it.’ S in Sydney
'At the end of four weeks I’ve been left wanting more. Chantal is an engaging and warm facilitator who offered a safe space for me to dip into my creativity, share with a group of like-minded and supportive people. I recommend this writing circle to anyone interested in dipping into their own creativity.'J in Melbourne
‘My weekly sessions of Writual fast became the highlight of my week. I loved the introduction to wonderful inspiring writers and the opportunity to free-write my own response to that inspiration. Chantal's literary knowledge added weight to the explorations and her gentle encouragement and guided meditations to start and close the circles created a sacredness to the sessions. Participants became very close over the sessions as we shared our personal stories and expressions. I absolutely loved Writual, and highly recommend it to anyone seeking creative expression, discovery of wonderful world writers and poets, and connection with other writerly-souls. Thank you Chantal!’

‘Writual was true nourishment - a mirror to oneself, a way of gathering belonging, a space to stretch into the places of growth within while being in creative community.’ E in Wellington
'I loved the selection of the poems themselves. It surprised me how strongly I connected with some poems, more than I ever thought would happen for me, and then in some cases not at all. That in itself made me feel closer to poetry itself. I loved the way you led/facilitated/shared/guided each session. It was gentle, safe, rich in creativity and opened up a way of "getting in". Lastly I loved the accessibility of poetry where the focus wasn't on the "craft" or good/bad poetry, but rather in our own sharing, expression and even feeling brave to write where I didn’t feel I could.’ R in Sydney
